Testimonials

To get an insight into Nuala and Don’s work, you can read some testimonials from clients who have experienced a range of their services and wanted to share their story:

It is the start of June now and the hay fever season for me should be well and truly over. So I can now tell you how I got on this year.

Well when I could feel my eyes getting itchy and my nose running or sneezing I used the techniques we discussed in our session. As a result the itching and sneezing soon stopped. What was also pleasing was the fact that I read this year was going to be really bad because of the cold spring and the lateness of the pollen being released and the trees would it all out all at once. However I hardly suffered at all, barely a few days and as I said before I used the techniques and the suffering went away.

Therefore I can say it has been a resounding success and this spring has been one which I have actually enjoyed and not had to suffer through.

So all I can say is a great big thank you Nuala for helping me get through this spring and many more to come.

Nuala is absolutely wonderful instructing feft !!!
I was very, very lucky to have had two sessions with her last year and I found
– Nuala very clear and at the same time very understanding, sensitive and loving
– the tapping easy to do and the instructions clear and easy to follow
– Nuala has a great sense of where to go next and what could I need on the way
– the method is good, but:
– Nuala makes it even better – I can imagine I would have found it difficult with somebody else
– I could trust her entirely, I felt absolutely safe, I felt my personal matters were in very good hands
– Nuala’s attention was 100% with me, when I was faltering, she gave me all the time I needed, she created this big space for me
– I found individual steps and certain methods or findings very pragmatic and am still referring to them
– I liked working on just one subject matter and repeatedly going back to it, until it was really “done”.
the only bad thing is: I don’t want to do tapping with anybody else now :))

Dear Nuala, many thanks still and I wish for you that your path with tapping is going to be a wide and copius one
I truly feel that you have found “your thing” here

best of luck for the Webinar
I would gladly attend as well :))

I first heard of this technique from a horse riding magazine, which ran several articles on the subject, detailing how better balance and posture could improve one’s position on a horse. Being a keen and regular rider, this seemed particularly relevant, and having a bad back (as with most riders!), this led me to booking a series of lessons.
The simplistic description of what the Alexander Technique seeks to achieve belies the fact that so much is involved, once one gets started! The first lesson involved lying down and sitting up. Not difficult? Neither is the Technique, but it requires much thought to apply the process, and if benefit is to be gained, practised in between each lesson. I found myself, even after two lessons, applying the Technique at home, standing, sitting, moving, in the car – and of course, on horseback! It was a revelation, becoming so aware of one’s position, and realising that what we perceive as being fact is in fact not so at all – and thus the process begins, of effecting change for the better!
Apart from becoming a more balanced rider, another unexpected benefit arose last week. During a heated discussion at the desk between two angry people, I intervened, but not before remembering my directions “let the neck the free…….” Etc. The effect was dramatic. My posture changed from cowed and insignificant, to authoritative and confident – it was actually remarked upon by colleagues after the altercation, which was calmly and successfully settled.
Alexander Technique – it’s just about sitting up straight isn’t it?
Not a bit of it! I’ve learnt more about myself in the last month than I would have thought possible (even the backache’s gone!) and would recommend it to anyone who has a desire for self improvement.
Many thanks to Don White for his patience and clear explanations and his wonderful sense of humour – thank you!

Banking Industry
I felt unable to express my thanks in the way that I would have liked at the end of the programme at xxxx.
I am writing to you now to say that the event was one of the most memorable that I have been on – its success in no small way being directly attributable to the skill, care and emotion that you invested.
I know from speaking to others around the department that there is a great sense of achievement and togetherness – some ‘magic’ that we all want to see perpetuated. This is perhaps the main concern that we all have – ‘to hold the moment’. Sincere thanks for helping us to gain this most powerful of insights – ‘simple being human is ok.’ Best wishes Tim.

I feel really blessed to have been myself and enjoyed task and relationship flowing one to the other – a new experience for me and I have you to thank for it. The tapping experience you led me through last Sunday to touch into and let go of the helplessness was really powerful and I am so grateful to you Nuala.
You are so gifted and I hope your gifts will find a way to be experienced by many others. And yes, the laughter was so good – been a long time.

I would like to add that I’ve been blessed, wherever I’ve been, by exceptional Alexander teachers coming into my life. Here in Belfast, Don White in Holywood, knew what was wrong and how I needed to direct my energies and inhibit my body’s desire to compensate for the pain, and survive until surgery, when the National Health Service was still making diagnostic mistakes. His interventions came in month 10, just as I had given up on the NHS, invoked my private BUPA insurance, and finally gotten the correct MRI and an accurate diagnosis by a talented and innovative private consultant orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Jonathan Bunn, who knew about and deeply respected the Alexander Technique. Several times Mr Bunn has attributed my pre-operative grit and post-operative success to Alexander training, along with dance, trekking, a dynamite physiotherapist Jeff Blair (Alphaphysio), and my personal trainer Kirsty at David Lloyd’s, all here in Belfast, Nothern Ireland. But without Alexander, which my surgeon said his own mentor at Queen’s Unversity Belfast’s Medical School “found was the only thing that helped him ease and transform chronic back pain,” I might not have found the will, stamina, or faith to fight through to a diagnosis, live through a year of ever-increasing pain with life-force and energy to spare, or re-build as fast as I have done following Total Hip Replacement surgery on 30th January 2013. God bless all who’ve contributed their expertise to this miracle, and god(s) bless all who study and teach Alexander Technique throughout the world. Un otrá vece, Graçias à la Vida. And now jo quiero pregunta à un amigo to translate estas qué jo éscriban aquí en Éspañol!

I certainly appreciated the very effective way EM4 managed the whole event, in particular emotive sequences, with a sort of tough love.
In talking to others everyone feels that the event was really worthwhile, the consensus being that in those few hours you managed to revitalise a drained and tired team. You even left us with the capacity to build on what we learned and improve our working relationships, roles and processes.
Thank you again.Best regards
